( what do you do when you hear the quiet sobs of a little girl - certainly not unfamiliar, there are always crying little girls in the Underground - and a trail of blood leading into a dark alleyway? )
[ Curiosity killed the cat, she's read somewhere, but she cautiously follows the trail nonetheless. She should probably tell someone where she's going, but they're not around so after a small moment of arguing with herself she follows the trail, into the alleyway, always turning back to look behind her.
She's scared, but someone's crying, and she remembers crying a lot too, and maybe it's the reason for her own tears she wants to investigate because no one should have to go through the things so many young girls actually do.
( the stench of blood gets stronger and stronger until it's overwhelming, and if nill squinted, she might be able to see two figures: one, crumpled on the ground, and the other, sitting up, a shiny metal collar reflecting the street lights out.
she hears her before she sees her, though she doesn't move save for tilting her head to the source of the noise, the tap, tap, tap. in the dark, it's hard to tell - is that blood on her face, or is that dirt? ( but it glistens, just like her eyes do, her eyes are a clear and bright red, not unlike heine's eyes in shade, though also brighter - more innocent. her voice doesn't betray this innocence; it's small and quiet, breaking, )

Maybe, maybe she can save someone, too. ]
